1:12th scale horse toy

This is a miniature horse I made, seen here without it's pulltoy base. It was going to be for sale, so I could move out of my parents etc,. I have great difficulty with pricing as well, bills, all kinds of things. And to be honest I don't really want to sell it.

1:12th scale Halloween masks, witch and Frankensteins monster

These are one of the items I was making for my Etsy shop, for the Halloween section.  I was happy to do this, at the time.

Halloween masks made using Japanese grace clay, which I highly recommend.

On the left the masks as they come out of the mould, middle, painted using watercolour paints and on the right, with hair and other details applied.

I designed these boxes in MS Paint, mostly to avoid copyright issues when selling them.

Saved cellophane from envelopes to create windows in boxes, also to use in the Christmas boxes I was going to sell.

These are the masters, for making moulds from, I had plans to make a werewolf and a devil too.

I would have liked to have done Jewellery and ceramics at the university of ulster, but for some reason when the foundation course was over I thought it would be best to abandon getting a degree and look for a job instead.

1:12th scale Halloween party scene

I disappeared from my blog for a few years, to start my own "business" and then things were going well, and I started to think in terms of self employment forms etc, and then I quitted.

It's been hell.

I absolutely love the film The Addams Family. It's a near perfect film for me, only one scene in it annoys me.

Recently I bought some Halloween decoration kits.

Great clock in the Addams family, also love the cat nutcracker, on the left, from Poundstretcher.

Made these a bit different, by using only one button on some of them to make them cycloptic.

On some of these pumpkins I put the smile upside down too, should have taken a picture of one, forgot.

I got these kits at The Works. I thought the white bit on the cat looked like a beard and I chose not to use it, not complaining.

This was one of my favourite miniatures to make. I'd actually started my Instagram, to promote my miniatures to sell, I've quit that avenue now, too complicated to explain, but I'm absolutely shattered by it all.

Mummified cat for potions

I bought a coffin box and initially was going to make it in to a cat themed "Tutankhamun" style sarcophagus, then couldn't be bothered and decided to make it in to a product for a spell shop, by making a label for the box, a mummified cat might be something someone would be looking for, for spells and potions, then I thought it was too small to even be a kitten, so it became a foetus.

Going by the label, this product is good for potted lotus flowers.

The bandages are strips of white cloth, after gluing these on, I used a watered down mix of yellow ochre and a touch of burnt sienna.   The head and front legs are milliput clay and the body is das clay.
Faience bead collar made using a piece of lace coloured in with a blue watercolour pencil, I soaked the lace in water first.

I like it as a Halloween prop, something a bit different.

Hello, for the forseeable future it's unlikely I'll be coming back to this blog. With the coronavirus lockdown and the current situation in my part of the world I don't have the energy for it.

I'm now posting anything I've made or will make on instagram @ratfingers

I am a Trump supporter, due to the fact I sincerely believe he was trying to prevent further war and make America more self sufficient.

I follow Anthony Brian Logan, Candace Owens, Four Freedoms international, Turning point uk, Russia Insight, Mark Dice, Awaken with JP, Russia Today, Eco India, South China post, Hindustan Times, Dr Mumbi, Townsends, Charles Dowding, Russell Brand, it goes on and on.

I also read Howard Kunstlers blog, an ex democrat supporter and the Consciousness of sheep blog.

Hope you are all well, and thanks for being so helpful and encouraging to me and others since I started my blog and miniatures.
